Block printing is a traditional craft that's been practised in Rajasthan for centuries. Artisans carve intricate designs into wooden blocks, dip them in dye and press them onto fabric by hand, one impression at a time. This means every tablecloth has its own handmade character, with the gentle variations that make block printing so special.

Care

Wash separately the first few times, in cool water on a gentle cycle with a mild detergent, as hand block printed dyes may release some colour. Treat spills promptly, and avoid bleach. Dry on the line in the shade, away from direct sun, which can fade the colours. Avoid tumble drying, which may cause shrinkage. Iron on the reverse on a medium setting while slightly damp for a crisp finish.
