Potato Pearl & Jade Drop Earrings
Simple, classic and endlessly wearable! These drop earrings feature a 10mm freshwater potato pearl with a large 10–12mm jade bead hanging below, on sterling silver hooks. It's a timeless pairing that works for any occasion, from the office to a weekend lunch to a special celebration. They were designed by Merchant Campbell and made here in Australia, and they're exclusive to our range.
Potato pearls are named for their gently rounded, slightly irregular shape, a bit like a new potato, and each one has its own lovely lustre. We hand-picked these good-quality freshwater pearls in person in Lombok, Indonesia, through trusted contacts we've built up over years of travelling and sourcing. For centuries, pearls have been treasured as symbols of wisdom, purity and calm, and they have long been linked with the moon and the gentle pull of the sea.
Our jade beads were also sourced in person, this time through our contacts in Thailand. Jade has been prized across Asia for thousands of years and is traditionally known as a stone of harmony, good fortune and protection. It's also said to bring prosperity and long life. Paired with pearls, it creates a soft, serene combination with a beautiful sense of balance.
The sterling silver hooks are a classic choice. Their cool, bright finish suits the soft green of the jade beautifully and lets the stones take centre stage.
Wear them on their own, or pair them with our pearl and jade knotted necklaces and bracelets for a coordinated look. They make a lovely gift, too.

Care
Pearls love to be worn, but they're delicate, so put your earrings on last and take them off first. Apply perfume, hairspray and lotions beforehand, and remove them before swimming, showering or exercising. Keep them dry and away from chemicals and cleaning products. After wearing, wipe them gently with a soft, dry cloth, and store them on their own in a soft pouch or box so they don't get scratched. Sterling silver can tarnish naturally over time, so give the hooks an occasional gentle buff with a silver polishing cloth, keeping it away from the pearl and jade.

Care

Delivery
We ship Australia wide and use Australia Post Parcel, unless Express Post shipping has been selected. Please allow 2–3 working days for delivery to metropolitan areas for orders placed within business hours. For regional locations, WA and sale orders, please allow up to 3–10 working days.
If you have selected Express Post shipping, assuming your address lies within the Express Post network and you have purchased within business hours (see below), Express Post orders will arrive in 1–2 business days.

Merchant Campbell prioritises fast dispatch for online customers. Due to our regional location, delivery times listed above are an estimate only and we will not be liable for any delay in delivery. All orders placed on a Public Holiday will be dispatched the following business day.
Return
Any order purchased from Merchant Campbell can be returned or exchanged within 14 days. If you return an item within 14 days of receipt, we’ll give you back the amount you paid for the item or offer an exchange. Whichever you prefer.
