Natural Jade Knotted Necklace
Delicate, classic and easy to wear every day! This necklace features 70 small 6mm natural jade beads, hand-knotted on green silk and finished with a sterling silver clasp. It’s a simple, timeless piece that works for any occasion. It was designed by Merchant Campbell and made here in Australia, and it’s exclusive to our range.
Our natural jade beads were sourced in person, through trusted contacts in Thailand we’ve built up over years of travelling and sourcing. Jade has been prized across Asia for thousands of years and is traditionally known as a stone of harmony, good fortune and protection. It’s also said to bring prosperity and long life.
Each bead is individually knotted on green silk. This traditional technique keeps the beads from rubbing against each other and helps protect them, and it also gives the necklace a lovely, fluid drape. The green silk tones beautifully with the jade, while the sterling silver clasp adds a fresh, bright finish.
At approx. 54cm, it sits just below the collarbone. Wear it on its own for understated elegance, or layer it with our longer jade and pearl necklaces for real impact. Pair it with our pearl and jade drop earrings and stretch bracelets for a coordinated look. It also makes a gorgeous gift.

Care
Put your necklace on after perfume, hairspray and lotions, and remove it before swimming, showering or exercising. Keep the silk dry, as water can weaken and stretch it. After wearing, wipe the necklace gently with a soft, dry cloth. Store it flat, rather than hanging, in a soft pouch or box, away from other jewellery. Sterling silver can tarnish naturally over time, so give the clasp an occasional gentle buff with a silver polishing cloth. As with all knotted silk, it may need restringing after years of wear, which is a sign it’s been well loved!
