Small but, oh, so pretty! Our zip pouches are hand block printed in Jaipur, India, and they're just the thing for keeping your everyday bits and pieces together in your handbag.

Each pouch is made entirely from cotton, with a soft lining in a contrasting print in the same colourway, which adds a lovely surprise when you open it. It closes with a zip, finished with a matching tassel.

At approx. 18cm x 15cm x 1cm, it's a slim size that slips easily into a handbag, tote or carry-on. Use it for lipsticks and vanity essentials, coins, earbuds, cards or jewellery. It makes a gorgeous gift, too, on its own or paired with our block printed wash bags and shower caps.

Block printing is a traditional craft that's been practised in Rajasthan for centuries. Artisans carve intricate designs into wooden blocks, dip them in dye and press them onto fabric by hand, one impression at a time. This means every pouch has its own handmade character, with the gentle variations that make block printing so special.

Care

Hand wash in cool water with a mild detergent, separately at first, as hand block printed dyes may release some colour. Avoid wringing, twisting and bleach. Reshape the pouch and dry it in the shade, away from direct sun, which can fade the colours. Don't tumble dry. If needed, iron on the reverse on a low setting, avoiding the zip and tassel.
