Block printing is a traditional craft that's been practised in Rajasthan for centuries. Artisans carve intricate designs into wooden blocks, dip them in dye and press them onto fabric by hand, one impression at a time. This means every stocking has its own handmade character, with the gentle variations that make block printing so special.

Each stocking is made from 100% cotton, with a contrasting striped lining that adds a cheerful flash of colour at the top. A hanging loop makes it easy to hang from the mantel, a hook, the end of the bed or a door handle. At 50cm long with a 24cm opening, there's plenty of room for Santa to fill it with treats and surprises.

Care

Hand wash in cool water with a mild detergent, separately at first, as hand block printed dyes may release some colour. Avoid bleach, wringing and twisting. Reshape the stocking and dry it in the shade, away from direct sun, which can fade the colours. Don't tumble dry. If needed, iron on the reverse on a low setting. After Christmas, store it flat in a cool, dry place, ready for next year.
