Roses that bloom all year round, and never need watering! These glazed ceramic cabbage roses are handmade by Lucy, a talented artisan in Central Queensland who makes them almost exclusively for Merchant Campbell. Each one is shaped by hand, petal by petal, into the full, ruffled form of the old-fashioned cabbage rose, then finished in a beautiful glossy glaze.

Because they’re handmade, no two roses are the same. Every petal curls in its own way, and the size, shape and glaze vary slightly from one to the next, so each rose is truly one of a kind.

They’re purely decorative and look lovely resting on a table, shelf, mantel or windowsill. Pop one beside a stack of books, cluster a few together in mixed colours, or give one as a gift that will last far longer than a bouquet.

• Ivory: soft and timeless, with the petals catching the light
• Dark olive green: deep, earthy and quietly elegant
• Terracotta seafoam: a seafoam glaze with the warm terracotta clay showing through, highlighting the edges of each petal

Care
These roses are somewhat fragile, so handle them gently and place them where they won’t be knocked or dropped. Dust with a soft, dry cloth or a soft brush to reach between the petals, or wipe gently with a damp cloth if needed. Avoid harsh or abrasive cleaners. For indoor display only.
