It's hard to believe that these bright and beautiful key rings are made in the dusty deserts around northern India. The Kalbeliya people are a nomadic tribe of entertainers and snake charmers from around Rajasthan and Udaipur in India with a close affinity to nature. Known for their colourful and vibrant dancing and clothing, the Kalbeliya women dance in their swirling costumes, replicating the movements of their revered snake, the cobra. The dancers are tattooed in traditional designs and wear jewellery and garments richly embroidered with small mirrors and silver thread. As the performance progresses, the rhythm becomes faster and faster and so does the dance. It's a wonderful sight to see these women dance – and it's hard not to want to join in.
